Intensive residential courses
 The English Academy also offers intensive residential language training. Individual lessons are given Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm. Not via Skype or another VoIP, but face-to-face with your teacher at our school.
This is an ideal solution if you want to make maximum progress in just one or two weeks.
Whether for business or personal purposes, we offer you a language training programme that is specially tailored for this kind of full immersion learning. You will work with two different teachers who coordinate activities and make them as varied and interesting as possible to keep your attention focused throughout the whole week.
The lessons don't take place at our office in London, but at our language school in Brussels, Belgium, where a lot of our experienced language instructors are based and where, as one of the most multilingual cities in the world, the demand for language lessons is high. As a truly international city, it is also the ideal setting for serious language training. We are near to the European Parliament and occupy a large building with a dozen beautiful and well-equipped classrooms.
Unlike residential language courses in the UK or in USA, catering mainly for teenage students and combining half-day lessons with sports or other leisure activities, we offer a full-on immersion training programme built up around individual requirements. You can stay in one of the school’s apartments or in a good standard hotel within walking distance, called Hotel Derby (see picture above)
The stay always includes breakfast, as well as lunch, which you and your teacher have together at a local restaurant.
Prices for residential lessons are:

1,730 Euro for one week, including a 4-night stay from Monday to Friday.

1,800 Euro for one week, including a 5-night stay from Sunday to Friday.

1,500 Euro for one week, without hotel accommodation
There is a 130 Euro discount for every additional week.

Your budget hotel room can be upgraded to a room in a charming 4- star business hotel, also within walking distance. This costs an extra 120 Euro per night.

We advise you to book these intensive lessons as soon as you know which dates you would like so that we can make the necessary arrangements with our teaching staff.
There is a direct metro line (line 1) from Central Station to the stop ‘Merode’.
Hotel Derby is right next to the metro. You can walk to the school in 7 minutes.
To get to the school from the metro station, walk down ‘Avenue des Celtes’ until you reach Place St.-Pierre. Rue Louis Hap is the second street on the right along from Place St.-Pierre.
From Brussels Airport: we are only 15 minutes away by taxi. |
