 Our teaching method
The success of the English Academy is based on the principle that the best way to learn a foreign language is to speak it and hear it. We put together all the elements required to establish an active conversation between the teacher and the students, adapted to their specific needs. In other words, we do not use the traditional method based on a more theoretical grammar and translation approach.
 We offer personalised and interactive lessons, oriented towards using the language. With the exception of beginner levels, lessons are given entirely in the language studied.
In this way, participants learn to think in the new language and quickly make use of appropriate idiomatic expressions. This approach - with immediate correction by our language teachers - forms the underlying foundation upon which our method is built and is the key to our success.
We have a library of more than one hundred different books, CD's and cassettes (audio and video). We have also developed our own teaching material. All this is an essential part of the lessons given at the ENGLISH ACADEMY and gives them structure. It may also be used to revise grammar and vocabulary between lessons. The choice of material is made by carefully taking the level and needs of the student into account.
This is because the student remains the central element in the language class.
